MUHAMYANKAKA Venuste

Venuste obtained a BSc in Food Science and Technology from the Kigali Institute of Science and Technology and later studied at Jiangnan University in China, where he got his Master’s degree in Nutrition and Food Safety.  He is now the Head of the Department of Nutrition at the Catholic University of Rwanda, the Secretary-General of Rwandan Civil Society Alliance for the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement (SUN CSA Rwanda), and the president of Rwanda Nutritionists’ Society.

He participated in KU’s early planning meetings and arranged for CUR nutrition students and interns to volunteer with the program.
